Menta’s website was selected by The Pepin Press and was published in the book Web Design Index 9. Since its first issue in 2000, this publication has become one of the most influential in its field, with each annual issue containing over a thousand selections from around the world.
Today, September 28th, at 12.00 noon at the Hábitat Valencia Fair (in NUDE 2010 on Level 2, Hall 6a), we are kicking off the series of ‘Discussions amongst Designers by Lladró’ with a presentation about our studio. Each year Lladró and the Designers Association of the Valencian Community (ADCV) organize this series of talks and meetings among creative and design professionals to bring added content to their space at Feria Valencia.

From Monday 27th September to Saturday 2nd October, Valencia Disseny Week 2010 will take place in Valencia, turning the city into the epicentre of international design. This is the second year that our studio has been commissioned to develop the graphic communication for the event. We have given a new flair to the image we created in 2009 together with Dídac Ballester, and this year we are using a high-contrast powerful image. (more…)
We have designed the image and produced the credits for FEED (First International Design Media and Bloggers Meeting) which will be held the last week of September during Valencia Disseny Week. The heads of the most influential design blogs on the net have been invited to the city of Valencia to participate in Valencia Disseny Week. Blogs and digital magazines such as Notcot, Mocoloco, Designboom, Contemporist, Graffica, Diario Design, Pasajes Diseño, Style Park and Yankodesign will participate in this series of meetings during the Valencia Disseny Week. This is the eighth time we have been selected to appear on the homepage of DESIGN AND DESIGN as Graphic Design of the Day. This time the work selected was the 2010 annual greetings card we created for the architectural and engineering practice Tomás Llavador. In addition, the project will be published in the Book of the Year Vol. 3 at the end of this year. When designing this greetings card, we were inspired by the geometric structures of some of the architectural projects of our client. (more…)
The motion graphics and animation project for the Designers Association of the Valencian Community (ADCV) has been selected in the Campaign category by Ads of the World. This is the third time we have been selected by this site specializing in international advertising campaigns, where a community of users selects portfolios and outstanding projects. (more…)
Today we start filming the documentary project about the last 25 years of design in Valencia with a couple of interviews between Barcelona and Madrid. We will shortly be updating information about the project and in early October, during the Valencia Disseny Week, we will be showing the documentary trailer containing the tour and reflections about the world of graphic and industrial design in Valencia.
From 7th to 14th July the Off Design seminars will take place at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University where professionals such as Dídac Ballester, Manolo Bañó, Juli Capella, Miguel Herranz, Luis Eslava, Nacho Carbonell, Enblanc, Menta, Tachy Mora and CuldeSac will be giving talks, presentations and workshops. Menta and Enblanc will be in charge of the workshop ‘La Conjura de las Cajas’ (The Box Conspiracy) together with students from the College of Technical Education. In this workshop, students will be able to play with the packaging and its product.
Attending the event MadinSpain 2010 at the Madrid Conference Centre on 2nd-3rd July 2010. MadinSpain will be the meeting point for the best designers and creative professionals at a national and international level. This is the fifth edition of an international event organized by Domestika.org
he image for the new album by DJ Taktel, as a homage to Saul Bass, has been selected as Graphic Design of the Day for the homepage of DESIGN AND DESIGN. In addition, the project will be published in the Book of the Year Vol. 3 at the end of this year.
The project is the best tribute that these masters of sampler and cut-n-paste music, Comodo and Taktel, could have made to Saul Bass.
