The International Congress of Typography (Valencia, 20th to 22nd of June 2014), in its 10th anniversary, paid tribute to the designer and typographer Rubén Fontana. The congress organization commissioned 20 professional designers to make a commemorative poster for an exhibition and a catalogue tribute to the Argentinian pioneer.
In Estudio Menta we designed a poster called Tango to pay tribute to Fontana with its typeface Andralis and some typical Argentinian ingredients.
The day before the opening, Rubén Fontana gave a masterly lecture in the MuVIM Museum of Valencia. The exhibition will be open in the main hall of the School of Art and Design of Valencia (Pintor Domingo St 20), where the Congress of Typography took place from June to July 2014.
